	The Fireman's Wife was written after my husband, Dan's, near-fatal accident fighting a fire. It was written in an effort to give those unrelated to the fire service an insider's perspective as well as encourage and sympathize with the families and friends who find themselves unwittingly drawn into the web of the firefighter's life.
